Job Description

In this role, you’ll design intuitive, engaging experiences that bring travelers together across the world. As one of the founding members of our design team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape not just our product, but also the way design influences our company’s future.

You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to craft user-centric, visually compelling designs that make travel more meaningful. If you’re looking for a role where your work has real impact and you can help build something from the ground up, this is it.

Key Responsibilities

- Craft fresh, unique, and inventive user interface designs that both challenge conventions and captivate the community.
- Engage actively with diverse teams, ensuring that user and company outcomes are achieved alongside design goals.
- Deliver designs that not only look modern and visually pleasing, but also deliver a world class user experience.
- Remain current with the evolving landscape of UI trends, bringing novel techniques and inspirations to the table.
- Collaborate symbiotically with top design firms to weave the collective experience into a highly engaging and visually stunning app.
- Solicit, internalize, and act upon feedback, refining designs in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Experience and Skills

- 5+ years of experience designing products for both mobile and desktop platforms, specializing in consumer mobile applications.
- A professional portfolio with distinctive, boundary-pushing designs.
- Mastery in fundamental UI principles, including color theory, typography, and spatial arrangement.
- A track record of guiding design concepts from ideation through to polished execution.
- Proficiency with design applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or equivalents.




- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a history of successfully partnering with product managers and development teams.
- A passion for user-centric designs, relentlessly pursuing heightened user delight.

Preferred Qualifications

- Grounding in UX design paradigms and methodologies.
- Proven expertise in gleaning user insights and weaving them into compelling design stories.
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping
- Comprehensive design expertise spanning web and mobile surfaces.

Nice to Have

- A flair for infusing motion or animation to breathe life into static UI elements.
- Experience conducting UX research and gleaning actionable insights.
- Successfully designed and delivered state-of-the-art consumer applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $680,000.00 - $1,200,000.00 per year
