About the Role
TQL Mexico is hiring a Carrier Development Representative to establish and grow cross-border & intra-Mexico carrier relationships . The role is based in Monterrey, MX , but requires relocation to San Antonio, TX for a 6-month training program before returning to Monterrey to help launch a new office .
This role involves sourcing carriers, improving service levels, managing disputes , and traveling up to 75% to meet with regional carriers.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze KPIs to evaluate carrier performance
- Enhance service levels & implement new carrier initiatives
- Assist in carrier onboarding & relationship management
- Travel up to 75% for carrier meetings & industry trade shows
- Research market trends to recommend process efficiencies
- Maintain regular touchpoints with carriers to ensure service expectations are met
- Monitor customer capacity and inform stakeholders of industry changes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in Mexico carrier development or sales
- Ability to travel up to 75% across Mexico
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, & Excel
- Experience in fast-paced, high-priority environments
- Availability to work in a 24/7/365 logistics setting
- Relocation to San Antonio, TX for a 6-month training program
- Comprehensive onboarding with support from experienced professionals

- Company-funded travel between Monterrey & San Antonio during training
- Return to Monterrey after training to launch the new office
