We are seeking a Programming CNC Engineer with experience in CNC programming for wood cutting, machining, and manufacturing processes . This role will play a key part in the development of customized products, process optimization, and the launch of new production initiatives.

The idóneo candidate will be responsible for transforming 3 D designs and engineering models into functional manufacturing programs, ensuring that cutting and production processes are executed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with product requirements.

Responsibilities

- Develop, program, and optimize CNC programs for wood cutting equipment, CNC routers, and automated manufacturing machinery.
- Convert 3 D designs and engineering models into production-ready CNC programs and validate their performance on the production floor.
- Create and adjust cutting, drilling, routing, and machining strategies for custom products and special projects.
- Support prototype and sample development by performing programming adjustments to ensure product functionality and manufacturability.
- Improve material utilization, reduce waste, and optimize cycle times through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Validate that production output aligns with design specifications, material requirements, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Support new product introductions and ensure successful implementation into production.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting related to CNC programming, design, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering,



Logistics, and Operations teams to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong CNC programming experience, preferably within wood cutting and wood component manufacturing environments.
- Experience with CNC routers, machining centers, cutting equipment, or similar manufacturing technologies.
- Proficiency in Solid Works for 3 D modeling and design modifications.
- Knowledge of CNC programming, G-code, blueprint reading, and CAD model interpretation.
- Experience with Microvellum is highly desirable; experience with similar woodworking CNC software will also be considered.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5 S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies such as 8 D .
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Dynamics, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Conversational English required to participate in technical meetings and present project updates.
