About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Accounting Assistant to support their finance department in Naucalpan, State of Mexico. This role is fundamental in assisting with daily accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. The idóneo candidate will have a foundational understanding of accounting principles, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with basic accounting software. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily data entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Help in reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
Assist with month-end closing procedures under supervision.
Process invoices and prepare payments to vendors.
Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
Respond to basic accounting inquiries from internal staff.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.




Assist in preparing documentation for audits. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; a technical degree or coursework in accounting is a strong asset.
1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
Basic understanding of accounting principles (debits, credits, general ledger).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Contpaqi) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Basic communication skills in Spanish.
