BA Global Talent is seeking a Remote Senior Salesforce Engineer & Administrator to join a consulting and recruiting firm specializing in financial advisor transitions, mergers and acquisitions, and business growth services for the financial services industry. This is a full-time, hands-on development role for an experienced professional who can own, maintain, and improve a customized Salesforce environment.
Your primary focus will be Salesforce development, automation, and integrations, supported by responsibility for data quality, reporting, and occasional internal user support. The ideal candidate also brings broader AI development capabilities to help build agents and automations both within Salesforce and across the company. Strong Salesforce developers without significant AI experience are encouraged to apply.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. You will collaborate closely with the COO, CFO, senior data analyst, internal teams, and external vendors.

Responsibilities:
Salesforce development and maintenance: Take ownership of existing custom solutions, including Lightning Web Components backed by Apex controller classes, Apex triggers, Flows, and custom objects. Read, troubleshoot, document, and extend code developed by others.

Integrations: Build, maintain, and improve connections between Salesforce and third-party platforms, managed packages, and systems such as MuleSoft, QuickBooks, and DocuSign. Implement appropriate monitoring and error handling.

Meta lead capture: Design and implement a new integration to capture, categorize, and route Facebook and Instagram advertising leads into Salesforce.

Automation and platform improvements: Translate business requirements into practical, maintainable solutions. Deploy changes through VS Code and the Salesforce CLI, and manage testing and releases.

Data quality and governance: Maintain reliable data throughout the lead lifecycle. Establish data standards,



address duplicate records and integrity issues, and manage record ownership, user access, profiles, and permission sets.

Reporting and analytics: Build and maintain custom reports, executive dashboards, KPI tracking, and pipeline and advisor transition forecasts.

Documentation: Maintain technical operating guides, SOPs, and recorded walkthroughs. Document custom code, data sources, calculated fields, manual inputs, and business rules so employees and AI tools can interpret company data accurately.

Internal support: Resolve occasional Salesforce support tickets, clarify user requirements, and provide guidance or training as needed.

AI development opportunities: Help identify and develop AI agents and automations within Salesforce and across the business, including tools outside the Salesforce ecosystem. Collaborate on early-stage initiatives, applying appropriate data privacy and security controls.

Business collaboration: Partner with leadership on priorities and the platform roadmap, and work with external vendors as needed.

Qualifications:
10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and administration experience. Exceptional candidates with somewhat less experience would be considered.

Deep expertise in Sales Cloud, Lightning Web Components, Apex controller classes, SOQL, Apex triggers, Flows, and custom object data modeling.

Experience deploying changes through VS Code and the Salesforce CLI.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and support users across the business.

Proven ability to independently inherit, understand, document, maintain, and extend code developed by others.

Experience designing and maintaining Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or native connectors.

Strong experience building complex custom reports and dashboards for executive stakeholders.

Willingness and ability to develop LLM-powered workflows against Salesforce data,



with sound judgment regarding data privacy and security.

Interest in helping develop AI-powered workflows, with appropriate judgment regarding company data privacy and security.

Strong data management skills, including cleansing, migration, deduplication, record ownership, governance, and access controls.

Ability to translate business requirements from nontechnical stakeholders into practical, maintainable technical solutions.

Reliable high-speed internet, a professional remote work setup, and availability to collaborate during U.S. Eastern business hours.

Nice to have:
Hands-on experience building AI or LLM-powered workflows using Claude or similar models, including prompt design and API-based orchestration.

Familiarity with Agentforce, Einstein, or other Salesforce AI capabilities. Prior AI development experience is a significant advantage, but it is not required for candidates with exceptional hands-on Salesforce development capabilities.

Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Sales Cloud Consultant.

Experience supporting sales-driven environments, outbound calling teams, long sales cycles, or recruiting operations.

Experience in financial services, wealth management, or financial advisor transitions.

Familiarity with MuleSoft, including Composer, QuickBooks Online, DocuSign, Meta lead generation, dialer tools, or payment platforms such as Stripe.

Time Zone: Eastern Time
Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility and expected core overlap between 8:30 AM–6:30 PM ET. Occasional schedule adjustments of up to two hours earlier or later may be needed to support the team.
