Role Description The Air and Ground logistics specialist is a remote, contract role responsible for supporting day-to-day coordination of time-critical air and ground transport services. This role includes monitoring shipments, updating tracking information, and communicating with couriers, drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery. The logistics specialist assists with quotes, booking and arranging transport services, preparing basic documentation, and supporting import-export and freight-related processes as required.





Additional tasks may include responding to customer inquiries, escalating operational issues, and collaborating with team members to maintain service standards and operational efficiency. The role requires consistent attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and comfort working in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with customers, couriers, and internal teams.
- Proven Customer Service experience, with the ability to manage inquiries, resolve issues professionally, and maintain client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of import-Export procedures and Freight operations, with the ability to support documentation and coordination tasks.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Comfort working remotely with digital tools.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or related fields is beneficial; familiarity with air and ground operations is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours to support time-critical operations and global time zones as needed.
