Job Opportunity - Embedded Controls Engineer Location : Monterrey, MX Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer with hands-on experience in Model-Based Development (MBD), Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) testing, and Battery Management Systems (BMS). The adecuado candidate will have experience using d SPACE tools and Target Link for control algorithm development, simulation, and validation in automotive or EV applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and validate control algorithms using Model-Based Development techniques.
- Perform Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) testing and simulation to verify control logic and system behavior.
- Utilize d SPACE tools and Target Link for model development, testing, and code generation.
- Support the development, integration, and validation of Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Analyze simulation and test results, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with software, systems, and validation teams to ensure compliance with system requirements.
- Support model verification, calibration, and control strategy optimization.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,



Electronics Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in Model-Based Development (MBD) and Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) testing.
- Experience with d SPACE tools and Target Link.
- Knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS), preferably in electric vehicle applications.
- Strong understanding of control systems, simulation, and algorithm validation.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and debugging control models.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EV battery control strategies, battery monitoring, and protection functions.
- Knowledge of Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
- Familiarity with automotive embedded software development and validation processes.
