About the Role

Our client, a prominent entity in the automotive manufacturing landscape, is seeking a Test and Validation Engineer to join their team in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas . This role is central to ensuring the performance, reliability, and compliance of our automotive products through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will be responsible for designing test procedures, executing tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with development teams to address any issues found. Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures for automotive components and systems.
- Execute various tests, including performance, durability, environmental, and EMC testing.
- Operate and maintain testing equipment and instrumentation.
- Analyze test data, interpret results, and generate detailed test reports.
- Identify, document, and track defects or issues found during testing.
- Collaborate with design and development engineers to resolve technical problems.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with relevant industry standards and customer specifications.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.




- Maintain accurate records of test activities and results.
- Provide technical feedback to support product improvement and validation efforts.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in test and validation engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Experience with testing methodologies and equipment used in automotive product development.
- Proficiency in data analysis and technical report writing.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and product development cycles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with relevant automotive standards (e.g., ISO, SAE).
- Fluency in Spanish; basic English communication skills are a plus.
