what you'll do

- design and implement features and services using .net/c# , backed by postgresql .
- build and maintain scalable, reliable software solutions.
- write and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
- investigate and resolve production issues, tracing problems throughout the technology stack.
- take ownership of production systems, including debugging, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.
- use ai development tools daily for code generation, code review, testing, and debugging, while carefully validating ai-generated output before deployment.
- participate in technical design discussions and code reviews .
- mentor junior engineers and encourage responsible and effective use of ai in software development.
- collaborate with distributed teams across different time zones.

skills and experience

- 5+ years of professional software development experience with .net/c#.




- strong hands‑on experience with postgresql , including schema design and query performance optimization .
- experience designing, building, and supporting scalable systems .
- strong experience with automated testing .
- experience owning and supporting production systems , including debugging and resolving live incidents.
- daily proficiency with ai development tools for software engineering, combined with the ability to review, validate, and take responsibility for ai-generated output.
- experience participating in code reviews and technical design discussions .
- ability to mentor and support other engineers.
- strong written and spoken english communication skills , especially when collaborating with distributed teams.

work location requirements

- must be available to work onsite in mexico city for the first 1–2 weeks of onboarding .
- after onboarding, the position will transition to a remote work arrangement .
- must be available to attend the mexico city office on an occasional basis whenever required .
