About the Role

We are looking for a Collections Lead to manage the collections team, monitor outstanding accounts, and improve payment recovery.

The adecuado candidate has experience in collections, team leadership, and handling billing and payment issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the daily work of the collections team.
- Assign accounts and monitor team workloads.
- Set collection targets and track team performance.
- Coach team members and provide feedback.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Handle difficult client conversations and escalated accounts.
- Oversee payment arrangements and follow-ups.
- Resolve billing questions and payment disputes.
- Track collection results, KPIs, and recovery rates.
- Prepare reports for management.
- Update collection procedures and improve workflows.
- Make sure account records and payment details are accurate.

Qualifications





- Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, or revenue recovery.
- Experience leading or supervising a team.
- Knowledge of billing and payment collection processes.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle difficult client conversations.
- Experience tracking KPIs and preparing reports.
- Familiarity with CRM and billing systems.
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred: Experience in a law firm or legal billing environment. Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
