Role Summary The Security Management Technician II provides technical support for security operations, protection programs, and risk response, applying working knowledge to complete assigned work and solve routine problems within standard procedures. Contributes reliable execution and clear technical communication within the team. Typical work includes site security procedures, patrol or post coverage, and incident response coordination, access control, badging, visitor screening, and credential management, and security incidents, investigations, escalation logs, and corrective-action follow-up. Key Responsibilities

- Perform technical work related to site security procedures, patrol or post coverage, and incident response coordination using approved methods, tools, and standards.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, or maintain access control, badging, visitor screening, and credential management to sustain safe and reliable performance.
- Complete and maintain security incidents, investigations, escalation logs, and corrective-action follow-up so work history, configuration,



or testing records are accurate.
- Respond to issues involving camera, alarm, access-control, and other security system monitoring or maintenance and coordinate with others to restore service or complete work.
- Follow safety, quality, and technical requirements while contributing to improvements in security audits, drills, training records, and compliance documentation.

Required

Experience

- 2+ years of technical experience in security operations, protection programs, and risk response or a closely related field.
- Experience applying relevant technical methods, systems, equipment, or troubleshooting approaches in an operational or business setting.
- Ability to communicate clearly, learn quickly, and deliver accurate work while balancing multiple priorities.

Education Associate degree, technical certification, vocational training, or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred where relevant.
