The Role We’re looking for a Local SEO Specialist with experience in home service-based industries to lead Local SEO across our client portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will execute high-impact SEO work, leverage support resources where appropriate, and refine the standards, processes, and playbooks for Local SEO delivery. Over time, you will help build and grow the Local SEO department, setting the vision for how Venveo delivers local search results for our clients. Your success in this role will be measured by: Client Performance
• Improvements in Map Grid rankings and local pack visibility
• Growth in Google Business Profile visibility, actions, and leads
• Increased website traffic from local and organic search
• Increased website leads and conversions Operational Leadership
• Establishing clear, repeatable Local SEO processes and standards
• Effectively executing high-impact SEO work while delegating recurring tasks
• Maintaining quality and consistency across all client accounts
• Contributing to the growth and maturity of the Local SEO function at Venveo Responsibilities
• Lead and conduct technical and content SEO audits to identify site issues and opportunities across client accounts.
• Own keyword research and local search strategy to inform content and optimization plans.




• Create content and optimization calendars aligned with keyword strategy and business goals.
• Optimize existing and new content according to SEO best practices and AI-readiness standards.
• Create or refine content using Surfer SEO or similar tools for priority pages and clients.
• Own Google Business Profile optimization, ensuring accurate NAP data, citation consistency, and ongoing GBP performance.
• Oversee citation building and directory accuracy using BrightLocal or similar tools, leveraging support resources where appropriate.
• Track SEO performance, keyword movement, and local search impact using ProRankTracker, GSC, and Looker Studio dashboards.
• Implement and oversee on-site SEO improvements within CMS platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix).
• Stay ahead of SEO trends, including AI-driven search changes, AEO, and local SERP shifts, and evolve Venveo’s approach accordingly.
• Optimize local and on-page content for AI and answer engines, ensuring visibility in voice, conversational, and location-based search results.
• Deliver monthly reports with actionable insights focused on lead generation, conversions, and measurable business impact.
• Collaborate closely with Executive Strategist, Producer, Project Coordinator,



and support resources to ensure smooth workflows, clear communication, and strong client delivery. Tools We Use Must be proficient in:
• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics
• Google My Business
• WordPress, Squarespace, Wix
• SEMrush, Ahrefs or Screaming Frog Preferred experience with:
• Surfer SEO
• BrightLocal
• Looker Studio

Skills:
• Deep expertise in Local SEO and familiarity with AEO and GEO principles.
• Proven ability to conduct technical SEO audits and implement on-site recommendations that drive measurable results.
• Skilled in leveraging structured data, FAQs, and conversational content to enhance local search visibility across Google and AI-driven search.
• Strong experience managing multiple client accounts, balancing execution, oversight, and client communication.
• Clear and effective communicator, able to explain SEO strategies and insights to clients and internal teams.
• Experienced in creating, documenting, and standardizing repeatable SEO processes for audits, optimizations, and reporting.
• Capable of leading, delegating, and building a Local SEO function, while still rolling up sleeves to execute high-impact work.
