Responsible for process control according to the company's key metrics, development and selection of machinery suppliers, facilities and new project start-ups, continuous improvement, implementation of BorgWarner's Production System, production cost reduction projects, personnel development and training. Plans, organizes and directs maintenance, manufacturing, quality and production engineering to meet the company's objectives. It is responsible for general management, coordination, evaluation and continuous improvement of production. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning and orienting activity, evaluating performance, rewarding employees and discipline, addressing grievances and resolving problems.
Development of Manufacturing strategy for selection of suppliers of new machinery, validation, startup and process control.
Estimation of the capital necessary for investment in new projects, for Machinery, Layout, Personnel and Shifts needed.




To assure the correct starting, validation and official liberation of the client of new projects in time and form.
Active and effective participation in integral manufacturing council workshops.
