This role will be responsible for providing analytical support to project management for a number of projects in one or more IT portfolios within the IT general business services team. Projects will range in size and complexity and will focus on specific business areas or functions. Some will involve business process change and IT aspects.

Projects may target productivity improvement, cost reduction, total cost of ownership reduction (through improved system architecture) and/or compliance enhancement.

You will be expected to work closely with business stakeholders and become a trusted advisor in technology, solutions development and process improvement execution. You will work collaboratively & cross-functionally to support successful execution of all approved and agreed projects. You will also be working closely with project management to regularly report progress and status.

Supervisory Responsibilities The role would not have any permanent direct reports.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Support multiple projects simultaneously. Work closely with both business & IT project management to help identify, evaluate,

prioritize and schedule potential new project work within a portfolio road map. This includes analysis of requests and ideas for projects as well as developing recommended solutions to business issues.

Seek & support opportunities for continuous process improvement and process re-engineering activity worldwide.

Support Project Management by taking ownership and demonstrating timely execution of assigned task: Ensure compliance with, and leverage the IT Governance process, to effectively communicate project expectations (requirements,

priorities, resources, cost benefit analysis, risks, etc), progress and status to the project team & management in a timely fashion.

Work closely with Project Management to contribute to and maintain a standard Governance, Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC)

and Direct Charge methodology. Ensure a consistent application of the Governance,



PMLC and Direct Charge methodology for all assigned projects from initial concept, design, and execution to post project review.

Support Project management on assigned projects to achieve successful on time execution of project deliverables through a combination of personal leadership and by providing appropriate coaching support to other team members in line with project plans.This particularly includes, but is not limited to, the identification and resolution of potential barriers.

Become subject matter experts in the specific project processes that are the subject of improvement efforts. The goal is to enable closer partnership and involvement of IT with Business at all levels.

Manage the preparation of detailed analysis and documentation to support knowledge transfer & sharing.

Job Requirements

JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

- Strong process or data analysis skills with proven results showing

ability to influence, work with cross functional teams and pull together disparate resources into a high performing team.
- Excellent systems acumen, preferably with Oracle experience.
- Proven record in identification and delivery of process improvement.
- Experience or exposure to key business functions, preferably in an international or complex business environment.

Language/ Communication Skills

- Good team player.
- Needs an appreciation of the need for good customer focus and strong communication & report writing abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with all levels within the

organization.

Education/Training/ Work Experience

- 5 years experience, preferably in a large, international corporate

manufacturing environment.
- Subject matter expertise in a specific process, system or function. o Numerate and process and data analysis skills a must have.
- Process improvement and re-engineering experience.

CERTIFICATIONS
- Degree preferred not required o Six Sigma, APICS or other data analysis certification.
