About the Role

Our client, a global leader in automotive components, is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico . This role is crucial for the design, development, testing, and validation of complex electrical systems and components for next-generation vehicles. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, experience with automotive electrical architectures, and proficiency in relevant design and simulation tools. You will work closely with hardware, software, and systems engineers to ensure the seamless integration and optimal performance of electrical systems, contributing to the innovative solutions our client brings to the automotive market. Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop electrical systems and components, including wiring harnesses, ECUs, sensors, and actuators.
- Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system architecture designs using tools like EPLAN or Capital.
- Perform system-level simulations and analysis to validate electrical designs.
- Develop and execute test plans for electrical components and systems, ensuring compliance with automotive standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues during development, testing, and production.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure hardware-software integration.
- Work with manufacturing to ensure the manufacturability and assembly of electrical components.




- Stay current with emerging technologies in automotive electrical systems, including electrification and connectivity.
- Ensure designs meet safety, EMC, and regulatory requirements.
- Document designs, test results, and technical specifications thoroughly.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical systems design and development, with a strong focus on the automotive industry.
- Proficiency with electrical CAD tools (e.g., EPLAN, Capital, AutoCAD Electrical).
- Experience with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Understanding of automotive electrical architectures and standards.
- Knowledge of EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) principles and testing.
- Experience with simulation tools for electrical systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluency in Spanish; professional working knowledge of English is required.
