About the Role

Our client is a integral leader in energy management solutions, seeking a highly specialized Ingeniero Eléctrico de Sistemas de Potencia Remotos to join their innovative, fully remote engineering team. This position offers the unique advantage of working from home anywhere in Mexico while contributing to critical projects involving the design and optimization of electrical power systems for remote monitoring and control applications. You will leverage your expertise in power system analysis, digital communications, and control logic to develop robust solutions that ensure reliable energy delivery and operational efficiency in challenging environments. Key Responsibilities

- Design and engineer electrical power systems for remote installations, including power generation, distribution, and protection.
- Develop control and monitoring strategies for remote power assets using SCADA and IoT technologies.
- Perform power system analysis, including load flow, fault calculations, and transient stability studies.
- Specify and select power equipment such as generators, transformers, switchgear, and batteries.
- Develop communication protocols and integrate systems for remote data acquisition and control.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, P&IDs;, and operational manuals.
- Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for deployed power systems.
- Collaborate with field technicians, project managers, and other engineers in a virtual environment.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.




- Stay current with emerging technologies in renewable energy integration and remote power management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in Power Systems.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the design, analysis, and operation of electrical power systems, with a significant focus on remote applications.
- Proven expertise in power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, DigSilent).
- Strong understanding of SCADA systems, industrial communication protocols, and IoT principles.
- Experience with renewable energy integration (solar, wind) and energy storage systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electrical codes and standards applicable to distributed and remote power generation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage workload independently.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
