About the Role
Our client, a rapidly growing entity in the telecommunications sector, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Ingeniero de Redes de Telecomunicaciones Jr. to join their innovative team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or individual with early-career experience in networking to build a solid foundation in the field. The role focuses on supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of our client's network infrastructure, ensuring reliable communication services. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your home office anywhere in Mexico. You will gain invaluable experience working alongside senior engineers on critical projects for our operations based in the State of Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior engineers in the design, configuration, and deployment of network equipment.

Monitor network performance and respond to alerts under the guidance of experienced team members.

Perform basic troubleshooting of network connectivity and performance issues.

Help maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configuration records.

Participate in the installation and testing of new network hardware and software.

Learn and apply industry best practices for network management and security.

Support the team in resolving escalated customer technical issues related to network services.

Contribute to network upgrade projects and technology evaluations.





Adhere to established network operating procedures and standards.

Develop a strong understanding of various network protocols and technologies used by the company.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a closely related field.

Up to 2 years of experience in networking, internships, or relevant academic projects.

Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP networking, LAN/WAN concepts, and basic routing/switching.

Familiarity with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Basic understanding of network security principles.

Strong desire to learn and develop skills in the telecommunications field.

Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a remote environment.

Eagerness to obtain relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA) is a plus.
