Your Role And Responsibilities

As a DevOps Developer Generalist, you will work in an agile, collaborative environment to build, deploy, configure, and maintain systems. You will collaborate with development teams to enable a continuous integration environment that sustains high productivity levels and emphasizes defect prevention techniques.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

- Assist with System Development: Learn to design, build, and deploy systems, including software installations, updates, and core services, while collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Explore Continuous Integration: Participate in enabling a continuous integration environment that sustains high productivity levels and emphasizes defect prevention techniques, ensuring smooth delivery pipeline from dev/test to staging and production.
- Automate System Performance: Observe and learn to automate, measure, and optimize system performance, availability, and processes, utilizing tools like Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Gradle, Chef, Puppet, Docker, and UrbanCode.




- Support Deployment and Monitoring: Engage in designing and implementing tools for automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments, promoting efficient system management.
- Participate in A/B Testing: Assist with performing A/B testing to ensure high-quality system delivery and identify areas for improvement.

Preferred Education

Technical Diploma Required Technical And Professional Expertise

- Basic Understanding of System Development: Exposure to designing, building, and deploying systems, including software installations, updates, and core services.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration: Interest in enabling continuous integration environments that sustain high productivity levels and emphasize defect prevention techniques.
- Awareness of Automation Tools: Curiosity about automating, measuring, and optimizing system performance, availability, and processes using tools like Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Gradle, Chef, Puppet, Docker, and UrbanCode.
- Exposure to Deployment and Monitoring: Basic understanding of designing and implementing tools for automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments.
- Interest in Testing Methodologies: Exposure to A/B testing principles and practices to ensure high-quality system delivery.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms: Exposure to cloud-based infrastructure and platforms, such as AWS or Azure, can be beneficial in designing and deploying systems.
