About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking educational center in Cancún, Quintana Roo , is seeking a dedicated Pedagogo/a Especializado/a en Inclusión Educativa . This role is crucial in ensuring that all children, regardless of their abilities or background, receive a high-quality education. You will work closely with teachers, students, and families to develop and implement strategies that foster an inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate is passionate about educational equity and possesses a strong understanding of diverse learning needs. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration and direct student support in Cancún with remote planning and resource development. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.

- Collaborate with teachers to adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.

- Provide direct support and intervention to students requiring additional assistance.

- Conduct observations and assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth.

- Work closely with parents and external specialists to coordinate support services.

- Facilitate professional development sessions for staff on inclusive education practices.





- Promote a positive and accepting school culture that celebrates diversity.

- Stay updated on best practices and research in special education and inclusive pedagogy.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Pedagogy, Psychology, or a related field with a focus on inclusion.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with students with diverse learning needs in an educational setting.

- In-depth knowledge of special education laws, methodologies, and assistive technologies.

- Strong understanding of child development and learning differences.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

- Experience in developing and adapting educational materials.

- Adaptability to a hybrid work schedule, supporting both in-person and remote engagement strategies.
