About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Coordinador de Programas de Apoyo Psicosocial y Desarrollo Humano to lead impactful initiatives in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas . This critical role involves designing, implementing, and managing programs aimed at enhancing the mental health, emotional well-being, and personal growth of individuals within the community. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong background in psychology, social work, or a related field, coupled with proven expertise in program management and community engagement. This position demands a compassionate and strategic leader committed to fostering resilience and positive change. The role will operate on a hybrid basis, requiring on-site presence in Tuxtla Gutiérrez for program delivery and community liaison, alongside remote coordination and reporting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive psychosocial support and human development programs.

Oversee the daily operations of assigned programs, ensuring effective service delivery and resource management.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with community stakeholders, local organizations, and mental health professionals.

Conduct needs assessments and utilize data to inform program design and improvements.

Provide direct counseling and support services to individuals and groups as needed.

Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns on mental health, well-being, and personal development topics.

Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and prepare regular financial and progress reports.

Supervise and mentor program staff, volunteers, and interns.





Ensure adherence to ethical standards and best practices in psychosocial support and human development.

Represent the organization in community forums and relevant networks.

Requirements

Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in program coordination, psychosocial support, or human development initiatives.

Demonstrated experience in program design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

Strong understanding of mental health principles, trauma-informed care, and adult learning methodologies.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community groups.

Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Fluency in Spanish is essential; knowledge of local indigenous languages is a significant asset.
