About the Role
Our client, a prominent logistics company operating extensive fleets, is seeking a skilled Automotive Fleet Maintenance Technician. This role combines hands-on work at our facility in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco with some remote administrative responsibilities, offering a hybrid work model. You will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of a diverse range of vehicles, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and safety. The adecuado candidate has a comprehensive understanding of automotive systems, excellent diagnostic abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and reliability for our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.

Repair and replace faulty components, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer specifications.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities using the company's fleet management software.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify any safety concerns or maintenance needs.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies regarding workshop operations and vehicle maintenance.

Assist in managing inventory of spare parts and supplies.





Communicate effectively with fleet managers regarding vehicle status and required repairs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive technology is highly preferred.

Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, electronics, and diagnostics.

Experience with fleet maintenance is a significant advantage.

Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools and automotive repair software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, including some time on-site in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco.

Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
