We're looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to help lead the day-to-day operation of our restaurant while delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting a high-performing service team. We're searching for someone with strong floor presence, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to inspire excellence through leadership and example. This role is essential in ensuring service standards are consistently executed while creating memorable moments that reflect the energy, style, and personality of The Standard.

Someone who can anticipate guest needs, coach in the moment, and ensure every service feels effortless. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you'll be a key operational leader, bridging strategy and execution while bringing our service culture to life every day.

What You'll Do

- Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional service and seamless execution throughout every shift.
- Lead and support servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.
- Ensure all service standards, procedures, and brand expectations are consistently followed.
- Maintain a visible presence on the restaurant floor, engaging with guests and supporting the team during service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address concerns to ensure positive outcomes and memorable experiences.




- Handle service recovery situations with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.
- Support the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager in achieving operational and service goals.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily priorities, menu updates, reservations, VIP arrivals, and special events.
- Provide on-the-spot coaching, training, and feedback to team members.
- Monitor restaurant setup, cleanliness, ambiance, and overall presentation standards.
- Coordinate closely with the Culinary, Stewarding, and other operational teams to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist with scheduling coverage, staffing requirements, and daily operational planning.
- Support upselling initiatives and encourage revenue-driving opportunities through elevated guest engagement.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Prepare shift reports and communicate important operational updates during handovers.
- Assist leadership with inventory controls, administrative tasks, and operational follow-up when required.

Calificaciones

What You'll Bring

- Previous experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in luxury hotels, lifestyle hospitality brands, or upscale restaurants.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in restaurant operations.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards and guest experience management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
- Experience handling guest concerns and service recovery situations.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible service practices.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
