About the Role
Our client, a luxurious resort nested in the scenic surroundings of Morelia, Michoacán , is seeking a dynamic and experienced Gerente de Alimentos y Bebidas (Food and Beverage Manager). This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort's food and beverage operations, including multiple restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong understanding of hospitality management, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a creative flair for enhancing the dining experience. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for strategic planning and administrative tasks remotely, alongside on‑site supervision and guest engagement. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence that define our client's premier brand in Morelia.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service and quality.
Develop and implement innovative menus, beverage programs, and promotions in collaboration with culinary and bar teams.
Manage budgets, control costs (food, labor, beverage), and maximize profitability.
Lead, train, and motivate the F&B; team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all F&B; areas.
Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships for all food and beverage supplies.
Develop and execute strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and solicit feedback.
Oversee banquets and catering operations, ensuring flawless execution of events.




Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to F&B; staff.
Stay abreast of industry trends and implement best practices to maintain a competitive edge. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Food and Beverage management within the hospitality industry, preferably in a resort or luxury hotel setting.
Proven ability to manage multiple F&B; outlets and diverse teams.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, P&L; management, and cost control.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of current food and beverage trends, wine, and spirits.
Experience with event planning and banquet management.
Proficiency in relevant software (POS systems, inventory management).
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
