Join our Consulting team in GDS Mexico as a Senior Accountant, supporting the accounting and administration of complex real estate investment structures.

This role is adecuado for accounting professionals with 5 to 6 years of experience who have strong accounting fundamentals and experience in areas such as fund accounting, financial reporting, audit, controllership, record-to-report, investment accounting, or real estate accounting.

What will you do?

- Prepare and review journal entries, trial balances and account reconciliations.
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
- Participate in NAV and financial reporting activities.
- Review cash, expenses, capital activity and supporting accounting schedules.
- Analyze accounting differences and follow up on outstanding items.
- Support financial statement and investor reporting activities.
- Review the work performed by junior team members and provide guidance.
- Support audits and maintain appropriate accounting documentation.




- Work with international stakeholders and coordinate recurring accounting deliverables.
- Participate in process improvements, standardization and automation initiatives.

What are we looking for?

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related fields.
- 5 to 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- General accounting
- Journal entries
- Account reconciliations
- Trial balance
- Month-end / period-end close
- Financial statements
- Financial reporting
- Experience in Fund Accounting, Private Equity, Investment Accounting or Real Estate is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates coming from Audit, Controllership, Record-to-Report or Financial Reporting may also be considered.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Advanced English, as the position involves interaction with international stakeholders.
