About the Role

We are seeking a Spanish Career Readiness Teacher to teach MyThorneAI’s curriculum in Spanish. You will help Spanish-speaking students explore careers, understand workplace expectations, and build practical skills for employment.

The adecuado candidate can explain concepts clearly, make lessons engaging, and adapt instruction to different learning levels. You will collaborate with our content and product teams to ensure Spanish instruction is accurate, culturally relevant, and accessible.

Responsibilities

- Teach career readiness lessons in Spanish using MyThorneAI’s curriculum.
- Guide students through career exploration, goal setting, job applications, résumé preparation, and interview practice.
- Teach workplace communication, teamwork, problem-solving, professionalism, and self-advocacy.
- Prepare lesson plans, examples, and activities aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Adapt instruction for students with different learning needs, including students with disabilities.
- Use demonstrations, visuals, guided practice, and checks for understanding to support learning.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, encouraging feedback in Spanish.
- Review Spanish lesson materials for accuracy, clarity, and natural language.
- Collaborate with the content team to adapt English materials into effective Spanish instruction.
- Maintain attendance, participation,



and progress records as required.
- Support recorded instructional lessons or video content when assigned.

Qualifications
- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish.
- Working proficiency in English to collaborate with the team and review source materials.
- Experience teaching, training, tutoring, or facilitating learning in Spanish.
- Ability to explain career and workplace concepts in clear, practical language.
- Strong lesson preparation, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Comfort using online teaching tools and digital learning platforms.
- Ability to create a respectful, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Reliable internet access and a professional setting for remote instruction.

Preferred Experience
- A degree in education, Spanish, special education, workforce development, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or relevant instructional credentials.
- Experience teaching middle school, high school, or postsecondary students.
- Experience with career readiness, vocational education, transition services, or Pre-ETS.
- Experience supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Experience developing bilingual educational materials or recording instructional videos.

- Students understand career concepts and can apply them to real situations.
- Spanish instruction is clear, engaging, and aligned with MyThorneAI’s curriculum.
- Students with different learning needs can participate meaningfully.
- Student progress and instructional feedback help improve the learning experience.

Job Type: Contract Pay: $4,400.00 - $20,000.00 per month
