Ensure that suppliers comply with the quality, technical, and customer-specific requirements , guaranteeing the conformity of purchased raw materials, components, and products. Continuously develop, evaluate, and improve supplier performance through audits, KPI monitoring, problem resolution, and preventive actions, with the goal of preventing defects and ensuring production continuity.

- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIREMENTS)

- VDA 6.3 Certification: hold a valid VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Certificate.
- English Proficiency: Advanced command of the English language (both spoken and written) to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
- Chinese Proficiency (Plus): Knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) will be considered a significant advantage due to the need to communicate and coordinate with stakeholders in China.

3. MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / PRINCIPALES ACTIVIDADES Y RESPONSABILIDADES
1. Quality Compliance: Manage and ensure supplier compliance with applicable quality requirements, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
2. Supplier Management: Evaluate, select, approve, and monitor suppliers through audits, quality assessments, and performance analysis, in coordination with Purchasing, Engineering, and other relevant departments.
3. Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement continuous improvement programs for suppliers, focusing on defect reduction, PPM reduction, cost of poor quality (COPQ), and resolving recurring issues.
4. Complaint Handling: Manage supplier quality claims, leading the problem-solving process using 8D methodology, root cause analysis, and verification of the effectiveness of corrective actions.
5. Incoming Inspection: Coordinate and supervise incoming inspection activities for raw materials and components, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings,



standards, and established control plans.
6. Non-Conforming Material: Manage supplier non-conforming material, including identification, segregation, containment, return, rework, and final disposition, ensuring the prevention of unintended use.
7. Containment Actions: Coordinate immediate containment activities for supplier quality issues, including 100% inspection, material sorting, classification, and customer protection actions to prevent non-conforming parts from reaching production or customers.
8. Audits: Conduct quality system and process audits at supplier facilities in accordance with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and specific standards.
9. PPAP & APQP: Review and approve supplier PPAP documentation, ensuring compliance with APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, dimensional reports, and corresponding validation testing requirements.
10. New Projects: Participate in feasibility assessments and approvals for new suppliers, new materials, new components, and engineering changes, ensuring quality risks are identified and controlled before implementation.
11. KPI Monitoring: Monitor and analyze supplier performance indicators, including Supplier PPM, non-conforming delivery batches, claims, COPQ, and the completion status of corrective actions.
12. Supplier Meetings: Coordinate periodic follow-up meetings with critical or underperforming suppliers, establishing action plans, assigning responsibilities, setting deadlines, and tracking implementation.
13. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Quality departments to resolve quality issues related to purchased materials and components, minimizing the impact on production and customers.
14. Documentation: Maintain and update supplier quality records, including evaluations, audit reports, claims, PPAP, corrective actions, and supplier approval documentation.
