Supply Chain Team Lead

Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco

Work arrangement: 100% on site

Intugo, in partnership with a foreign company specializing in testing and certification services for laboratory and controlled-environment equipment.

We are seeking a Supply Chain Team Lead to coordinate daily purchasing operations, support team members, and maintain accurate and efficient procurement processes.

This is a working leadership position: you will maintain a full purchasing workload equivalent to other team members while providing operational guidance, training, and coordination.

Purchasing Responsibilities

- Process approved purchasing requests and manage purchase orders from creation through receipt and closure.
- Monitor open orders and follow up with suppliers regarding lead times, shipments, backorders, and delivery commitments.
- Source materials and services while balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Identify alternative suppliers when existing sources cannot meet business needs.
- Maintain supplier relationships and help resolve performance or delivery issues.
- Create and maintain part numbers, item records, vendor information, and pricing within ERP systems.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies in coordination with suppliers and internal departments.
- Coordinate with inventory teams to use available stock before placing new purchases whenever possible.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activity, open orders, supplier performance, and operational risks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and other procurement activities.

Team Leadership Responsibilities

- Provide daily guidance on procurement processes, systems, workflows, and escalations.
- Help balance workloads and prioritize activities to meet service expectations.
- Support onboarding, training,



coaching, and team development.
- Lead team meetings and communicate priorities, procedures, and departmental updates.
- Monitor team performance metrics and share observations with the Supply Chain Supervisor.
- Help resolve routine workplace conflicts and operational challenges.
- Reinforce company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Escalate performance, attendance, policy, and employee relations concerns to the appropriate supervisor and Human Resources.

Requirements

- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- At least four years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, supply chain operations, or a related field.
- Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and collaboration platforms.
- Strong understanding of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to coach others, resolve conflicts, and drive accountability without direct supervisory authority.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and collaborate across departments.
- Availability to work fully on site in Guadalajara.

Preferred Experience

- Training, mentoring, coaching, or providing work direction to others.
- Supporting field service, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, or technical service organizations.
