Finance and Accounting Manager

Key activities
Oversee the monthend and yearend close, and ensure accurate, timely financial statements in line with local standards NIF and corporate reporting requirements IFRS US GAAP.
Lead the annual budget, forecast and longrange planning process, and analyze variances against plan to support decisionmaking by plant and executive leadership.
Own cost accounting and standard costing, analyze product and customer profitability, and drive costreduction and efficiency initiatives together with Operations.
Manage cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships and financing, and optimize working capital receivables, payables and inventory, including FX exposure and hedging where applicable.
Ensure internal controls, tax compliance and audit readiness internal, external and customer audits, while leading and developing the finance team.

Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field Masters degree MBA or Finance preferred.
Experience 8 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 in a leadership role,



preferably in automotive or industrial manufacturing.
Technical knowledge Cost accounting and inventory valuation budgeting and forecasting consolidation Mexican tax and statutory compliance IFRS and or US GAAP.
Systems Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience with ERP systems SAP, Oracle or similar BI tools such as Power BI are a plus.
Language Advanced English
Competencies Strategic and analytical thinking, business partnering with Operations, leadership and team development, communication with senior management, and results orientation.
