7+years TCS is seeking an experienced Databricks Architect to support enterprise transformation, technology delivery, and operational excellence within a general financial services environment. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Databricks Architect to lead enterprise-scale data engineering and platform initiatives within Asset Management, Capital Markets, and Investment Management environments. The role is responsible for designing scalable data solutions, ensuring platform stability, driving engineering best practices, and coordinating delivery across global teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Architect and lead large-scale data engineering solutions using Databricks, Spark, and DBT.
• Drive end-to-end data platform delivery, operational excellence, and SLA adherence.
• Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, workflow orchestration, and data processing frameworks.
• Lead platform reliability, monitoring, incident management, and performance tuning initiatives.
• Collaborate with business, portfolio management, and technology stakeholders to align delivery with business objectives.
• Define and implement standards for governance, automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and operational readiness.
• Coordinate and mentor distributed onshore, nearshore, and offshore engineering teams.



Required Skills & Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, DBT, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow/Astronomer for workflow orchestration and DAG design.
• Deep understanding of Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, and large-scale data platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation.
• Strong knowledge of platform monitoring, reliability, and incident management.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Preferred Domain Experience
