Role Mission.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer – Consumer Electronics & Injection Molded Plastics, you will play a key role in the design, development, validation, and industrialization of innovative consumer electronic products, with a strong focus on injection-molded plastic components. You will transform product requirements into robust mechanical solutions that balance performance, manufacturability, quality, cost, and user experience. Working closely with other Product Development functions, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and cross-functional teams,



you will drive designs from concept through production and lifecycle support, ensuring successful product launches and continuous product improvement.
Main Activities.
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies, including plastic injection-molded parts, considering functionality, manufacturability, industrialization, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation using CAD software.
- Apply knowledge of plastic part design and injection molding to support robust and manufacturable product designs.
- Conduct and support mechanical design validation, including prototype evaluation, testing, and technical analysis.
- Coordinate the introduction of new part numbers, product structures, technical documentation, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
- Create, maintain, and update product BOMs
