Position OverviewThe Network Sales Engineer supports the sales team by owning the technical pre-sales process. This role bridges Sales, Project Coordination, and Engineering by translating client requirements into the appropriate network solution.
You'll become an expert in Vivant's standardized network packages, determine the right solution for each prospect, coordinate technical cost analysis, recommend the best ISP options, and prepare proposals for the sales team.
Initially, you'll join client meetings to answer technical questions. As Account Executives become more comfortable handling technical discussions,
your involvement shifts toward behind-the-scenes solution design and proposal preparation.

Key ResponsibilitiesDiscovery & Requirements Gathering• Participate in discovery calls alongside the sales representative.
• Understand the client's business, technical requirements, pain points, number of locations, and project goals.
• Document all technical and business requirements accurately.
Solution Design• Match client requirements with Vivant's standard network packages.
• Determine the appropriate:
• Firewall
• Switches
• Wireless Access Points (WAPs)
• Network sizing
• Hardware quantities
• Recommend solutions based on facility size, user count, and device requirements.
Cost Analysis Coordination• Submit project requirements to Project Coordinators.
