About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Industrial IT Business Analyst to join a dynamic, technology-driven manufacturing environment in Silao, Guanajuato.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who understands both manufacturing operations and information technology, and can bridge the gap between business challenges and effective digital solutions.

The adecuado candidate combines strong business analysis capabilities, industrial process knowledge, and technical understanding of manufacturing systems such as MES and ERP.

You will play a key role in identifying operational inefficiencies, analyzing complex business and system-related issues, defining functional requirements, and coordinating technology initiatives that improve production efficiency, data accuracy, traceability, and operational performance.

This is not a software development or infrastructure support position. We are looking for a senior professional with strong analytical capabilities who can understand technical challenges, communicate effectively with IT teams, and translate manufacturing needs into actionable technology requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Production Planning, Industrial Engineering, and IT teams to understand business challenges and operational requirements.
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes, workflows, and system interactions to identify inefficiencies, integration gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct root cause analysis of business and system-related issues, particularly those affecting production, planning, quality, and data accuracy.
- Translate complex business needs into clear functional requirements and practical technology solutions.
- Develop AS-IS and TO-BE process maps, business requirements documentation, functional specifications, and improvement proposals.
- Recommend process optimization and digital transformation initiatives aligned with manufacturing objectives.

Manufacturing Systems & IT Integration

- Analyze business processes and information flows across Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms,

and other industrial applications.
- Identify and investigate data inconsistencies, integration issues, and process gaps between manufacturing and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with technical teams, system owners, and external vendors to define requirements and coordinate issue resolution.
- Understand system dependencies, data flows, interfaces, and integration requirements to support effective problem-solving.
- Support initiatives related to manufacturing data visibility, production traceability, quality management, and operational reporting.

IT Project Coordination & Delivery

- Coordinate Industrial IT initiatives from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, implementation, and post-deployment stabilization.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and external technology partners to ensure project alignment, deliverables, and execution.
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment planning, and hypercare activities.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential impacts on manufacturing operations.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and user training to support successful technology adoption.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT Business Analysis, Industrial IT, Manufacturing IT, Business Process Improvement, or technology projects within manufacturing environments.
- Proven senior-level experience independently analyzing complex business problems, defining functional requirements, and coordinating cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing operations, production workflows, quality processes, and planning activities.
- Experience working with MES, ERP, or other manufacturing-related enterprise systems, including the analysis of business processes, system interactions, and data flows.

- Demonstrated experience investigating system-related business issues, performing root cause analysis, and proposing process or technology improvements.
- Solid understanding of IT concepts, system integrations, databases, interfaces, and application dependencies, sufficient to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
- Experience documenting business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and test scenarios.
- Proven ability to coordinate projects involving business stakeholders, IT teams, and external technology providers.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Availability to work 100% on-site in Silao, Guanajuato, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the automotive industry, automotive components, or high-volume manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of SAP modules such as PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), and MM (Materials Management).
- Experience with MES-to-ERP integration projects or manufacturing systems optimization.
- Familiarity with SCADA, Industrial IoT, manufacturing data platforms, or shop-floor data collection.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar project management tools.
- Experience supporting digital transformation, process standardization, or manufacturing systems modernization initiatives.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

You are a strong candidate if you:

- Understand how manufacturing operations work and how technology supports production efficiency.
- Can investigate complex business problems, identify their root causes, and translate findings into actionable solutions.
- Feel comfortable discussing MES, ERP, system integrations, and data flows with technical teams, without necessarily being a software developer.
- Can challenge existing processes and recommend improvements based on business impact.
- Have the confidence and seniority to work independently with manufacturing leaders, IT specialists, and international stakeholders.
- Enjoy connecting business needs with technology to drive meaningful operational improvements.

Ready to Make an Impact?

If you are passionate about manufacturing technology, business process optimization, and digital transformation, we would like to hear from you.
