About the Role

The Sports Marketing Associate will support the Mexico Sports team in the development, coordination, execution, and optimisation of sports marketing initiatives across the region. The role is key to campaign planning, project management, performance reporting, and cross-functional alignment, helping ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. The Associate works closely with Marketing, Creative Services, Media, Social, PR, Content, Product, Research & Engagement, and local market teams to provide visibility into campaign status, support decision-making through data and insights, and contribute to the successful execution of major sports properties across Latin America.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain regional campaign trackers, timelines, planning calendars, and project documentation.
- Coordinate campaign milestones, deliverables, approvals, and dependencies across multiple stakeholders, and monitor progress to proactively identify risks, delays, or roadblocks.
- Ensure visibility of campaign status, priorities, and upcoming deliverables across LATAM markets.
- Serve as a key point of coordination between Marketing, Creative Services, Media, Social, PR, Content, Product, Research & Engagement, and local market teams, facilitating follow-up on action items, deadlines, and approvals.
- Support recurring planning and campaign review forums through agenda preparation, documentation, and follow-up.
- Consolidate campaign performance metrics across platforms and markets, and develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate campaign results and key learnings.
- Analyse marketing performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights, and support post-campaign reviews with recommendations for future initiatives.




- Contribute to the development of seasonal marketing plans and campaign roadmaps, and assist in evaluating campaign priorities, resource allocation, and regional opportunities.
- Help identify best practices and learnings across LATAM markets, and prepare executive presentations, planning documents, status updates, and meeting materials.
- Track campaign budgets, purchase orders, and project- related expenses, support budget reconciliation and reporting activities, and maintain organised documentation, planning resources, and shared repositories.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, project management, media, sports marketing, or related functions.
- Strong passion for sports, entertainment, and digital media.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast- paced environment.
- Key competencies include project management, strategic thinking, analytical skills, attention to detail, stakeholder management, collaboration and teamwork, communication and presentation skills, problem solving, adaptability, and ownership and accountability.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working in sports, media, streaming, entertainment, or agency environments.
- Experience with campaign management tools, project trackers, and reporting dashboards.
- Familiarity with sports marketing campaigns, content marketing, and audience engagement strategies.
- Knowledge of major sports properties and the LATAM sports landscape.
