Your Role

As a Functional Test Engineer, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of business-critical applications by executing comprehensive testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle. Working closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams, you will validate requirements, identify defects, and contribute to delivering high-quality digital solutions.

In this role, you will participate in test planning, test execution, defect management, and continuous improvement initiatives within Agile delivery environments.



You will play a key role in enhancing product quality and user experience while supporting efficient and predictable software releases.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing activities across enterprise applications.

• Analyze business requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

• Identify, document, track, and validate defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.

• Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and QA teams to ensure application quality.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support iterative delivery processes.

• Validate application functionality against defined business and technical requirements.

• Contribute to test documentation, reporting, and quality metrics.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes and methodologies.

• Assist with test automation adoption and quality engineering best practices where applicable.
