As a
Gas Turbine Field Specialist
, you will play a key role supporting installation, maintenance, commissioning, and inspection activities at our customers' facilities. You will work closely with clients and field teams to ensure the safe and efficient execution of service projects, maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
As a Gas Turbine Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Perform installation, maintenance, commissioning, inspection and scheduled shutdown activities on high power gas turbines, mainly Frame 5 and Frame 7.
Perform field service activities in accordance with site maintenance schedules, technical procedures, and quality requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work crews to ensure the correct execution of projects at the client's facilities.
Complete and comply with all quality checklists and documentation required for the assigned scope of work.
Coordinate activities with client representatives and site personnel to ensure efficient execution of the work.
Prepare and submit technical reports and accurate documentation on the activities carried out in the field.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems related to equipment to maximize its reliability and performance.
Comply with all Baker Hughes HSE, Quality and Compliance standards, procedures and policies.

To succeed in this role, you will need to:
Have at least 6 years of experience in field service, installation, maintenance, commissioning or outage execution related to gas turbines.
Have a completed bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the industry complemented with training in IET products.
Having participated in minor and major outages, installation and commissioning of equipment.
Have knowledge of Level 1 (L1) inspections, including borescope inspection.
Experience in combustion inspections, Hot Gas Path and Rotor Swap is required.
Be able to interpret technical drawings, diagrams and engineering documentation.
Possess experience in diagnosing and solving technical problems.
Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and customer focus skills.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Be available to travel up to 90% of the time.
Desired qualifications:
Experience working on offshore and international projects.
Current BOSIET and/or THUET certifications.
Experience in maintenance programs for high-power gas turbines.
Knowledge of gas turbine technologies from Baker Hughes or other OEM manufacturers.
