Internal Essential functions of the job and specific requirements
The CAD Designer / Engineer’s key responsibilities include: 1. Creating new CAD models of future products; 2. Analyzing and modifying CAD models that YFSS receives from customers, suppliers, or other internal sources; 3. Creating and modifying DWG files in the proper YFSS- and customer templates, including creating and applying the proper GD&T; for the parts and assemblies; 4. Managing CAD data releases in YF PLM; 5. Communicating with internal YFITC and customer interfaces/ departments to transfer data.
The CAD Designer / Engineer’s key responsibilities include:

Qualifications:
2-year Associates Degree in CAD design OR 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Aerospace from an ABET-accredited university or international equivalent.
2+ years of experience in product design, preferably within the automotive Tier 1 space.
Deep understanding in Plastics, Metal Stampings and A-Surface Development.
