About This RoleThe Check Cashing Collection Specialist is responsible for billing/collecting on returned items for checks processed by RIA Stores, and other collections duties as assigned.
The Check Cashing Collection Specialist is responsible for billing/collecting on returned items for checks processed by RIA Stores, and other collections duties as assigned. The Collections Specialist must follow up on checks assigned to them, with the objective of collecting as much as possible and subsequently updating notes/payments in the system. This will require reaching out to the Customer or Check Issuer directly and attempting to secure a payment for the dishonored instrument received by RIA.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manages billing of Chargebacks, Adjustments & Fees for a specific region
- Reach out to Issuers/Customers on a daily basis via phone/fax/emai
