The AI Hub aims to support countries in responsibly adopting AI technologies for enhanced inclusive, efficient and effective social protection systems, while focusing on mitigating associated risks.
The AI Hub works within four action areas and pursues its mission through (i) creating and sharing knowledge products with and through a sector-wide integral expert network, (ii) advising social protection institutions in designing, implementing and governing responsible AI systems and strategies, (iii) developing AI DPGs in SP (Digital Public Goods) as well as standards and guidelines, (iv) conducting capacity building around AI and data literacy for the SP context through the creation of learning materials and online trainings targeting social protection practitioners.
Under the Digital Convergence Initiative (DCI) structure, the AI Hub supports countries in navigating the rapidly evolving landscape of AI while promoting the principles of responsible, innovative and sovereign AI adoption.
