Project Manager – Professional Services (Capital Markets Front Office)

Location: Mexico City (CDMX), Mexico – Hybrid

Work Arrangement: 3–4 days per week onsite at client location

Experience: 8–10+ years

Domain: Capital Markets / Financial Services / Front Office Trading

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take direct ownership of complex, client-facing Professional Services engagements within Capital Markets Front Office environments .

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading projects end-to-end , from project initiation and planning through implementation, UAT, go-live, and post-production stabilization.

This role requires a hands-on Project Manager who can independently manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, project governance, client relationships, and delivery outcomes .

Candidates should be able to demonstrate specific examples of successfully delivering complex Capital Markets projects and taking accountability for overall project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and lead end-to-end Capital Markets implementation, integration, upgrade, and transformation projects .
- Manage projects from initiation and planning through UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization .
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource plans .
- Manage project scope, budget, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests .
- Take direct accountability for project delivery, timelines, quality, and client outcomes .
- Lead and coordinate Functional, Technical, QA, Support, and other cross-functional teams .
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, vendors,



and senior management .
- Establish and maintain effective project governance, steering committees, status reporting, and executive communication .
- Identify, track, and resolve project risks, issues, escalations, and delivery blockers.
- Manage UAT planning and execution, cutover activities, go-live readiness, and stabilization .
- Track project financials, utilization, revenue, budgets, and margins .
- Manage project changes and assess their impact on scope, schedule, resources, and budget .
- Ensure project deliverables and milestones are completed according to agreed client and business requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8–10+ years of hands-on Project Management experience within Financial Services, FinTech, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets.
- Proven experience leading complex projects end-to-end with direct accountability for delivery.
- Strong experience delivering client-facing Professional Services engagements .
- Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and change control .
- Strong experience coordinating cross-functional Functional, Technical, QA, and Support teams .
- Experience managing UAT, implementation, cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization .
- Strong client, stakeholder, vendor, and executive management experience.




- Experience with project governance, steering committees, status reporting, and escalations .
- Experience tracking project financials, utilization, revenue, budgets, or margins .
- Strong understanding of Front Office trading environments and trade lifecycle .
- Proven ability to provide specific examples of project ownership, delivery challenges, risk management, and successful project outcomes .
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working onsite at client locations 3–4 days per week in Mexico City.

Preferred Product Experience

Experience with one or more of the following Capital Markets platforms is preferred:

- Front Arena
- Murex
- Calypso

Must-Have Domain

Capital Markets | Front Office Trading | Trade Lifecycle | Investment Management Solutions

Preferred Certifications

- PMP
- PRINCE2
- Scrum
- Agile

Adecuado Candidate Profile

- Senior-level Project Manager , not primarily a consultant or functional specialist.
- Proven record of personally owning and delivering complex Capital Markets projects from initiation through go-live .
- Strong Capital Markets / Financial Services domain experience with an understanding of Front Office trading and investment management processes .
- Experienced in Professional Services / client-facing project delivery .
- Comfortable managing project scope, schedule, budget, RAID, resources, dependencies, change requests, and escalations .
- Able to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, technical teams, and senior executives .
- Based in or able to work onsite in Mexico City, Mexico, 3–4 days per week .
