A Snapshot of Your DayAs a Commercial Project Manager within the SiemensEnergy Wind Power, Onshore North America division, you will oversee thefinancial performance of complex onshore wind projects throughout theirlifecycle.
You will work closely with project managers, business leaders, andoperational teams to develop financial forecasts, manage budgets, monitorproject profitability, and ensure compliance with accounting standards andcompany policies.
Your day will involve analyzing financial performance,identifying risks and opportunities, supporting audits, and providing strategicinsights to leadership.
This role requires strong expertise in projectaccounting, financial controls, and stakeholder communication to drivesuccessful project outcomes.How You'll Make an Impact- Develop and maintain project financial forecasts,budgets, and cash flow projections to support successful project execution andprofitability.
- Perform financial controlling activities, includingvariance analysis, cost tracking, revenue recognition, and monitoring accountspayable and receivable.
- Prepare and deliver accurate month-end, quarter-end,and year-end financial reports, ensuring compliance with corporate policies andaccounting standards.
- Lead project financial closing activities, includingaccruals, allocations, ledger maintenance, and audit support.
- Identify financial risks, provide recommendations tomitigate issues, and communicate project financial performance to keystakeholders and leadership.
- Drive process improvements and implement enhancedfinancial reporting standards, tools,



and controls to support businessobjectives.What You Bring- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, BusinessAdministration, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in project accounting,financial controlling, or financial analysis within the energy, construction,manufacturing, or project-based industries.
- Proven experience managing the financial performanceof large and complex projects, including forecasting, budgeting, cost control,and revenue recognition.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted AccountingPrinciples (GAAP), internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financialreporting tools, including Power BI and Power Query.
