You will ensure the scalability and reliability of our systems by leveraging JVM-based technologies to process complex data sets efficiently.What You'll DoDesign and implement scalable backend services using Scala and functional programming patterns.Build and maintain high-concurrency systems utilizing frameworks like Akka or Play.Optimize application performance by deep-diving into JVM internals and memory management.Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and data models for data-intensive applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architectural standards and service requirements.Ensure system robustness through rigorous testing and proactive troubleshooting of distributed systems.What We Are Looking For4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on functional programming.Proven expertise in building backend services and data-heavy applications using Scala.Proficiency with the Akka or Play frameworks for developing scalable, concurrent systems.Strong understanding of JVM internals and SQL for performance optimization and data persistence.Hands-on experience implementing functional programming patterns to ensure code reliability and maintainability.Advanced proficiency in English.How we do make your work (and your life) easier:100% remote work (from anywhere).
