Description
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing advanced manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for driving process optimization, innovation, productivity, product quality, and cost efficiency. With your experience and leadership skills, you will contribute to the success and growth of our organization.

You will report directly to the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager or designated Manufacturing Engineering leader and work on-site at our Mexicali, Baja California location. Travels within Mexico and internationally will depend on assignment needs.

In this role, you will impact on our manufacturing operations by developing and implementing advanced manufacturing strategies, leading cross-functional teams, introducing appropriate technologies, and using manufacturing data to identify and execute improvements. Your expertise will help us deliver innovative and high-quality products to our customers and maintain our position as a general technology leader.

Responsibilities




- Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to enhance productivity, product quality, process capability, and cost efficiency.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement advanced manufacturing technologies, including automation, robotics, additive manufacturing, AI, and digitization where applicable.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, Quality Management Systems, industry standards, and applicable special-process controls.
- Develop and manage Scope of Work (SOW) and HSE&F; Management of Change (MOC).
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Supplier Acceptance
