This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tech Lead/Sr Backend (Go) Developer based in Mexico.

As a Tech Lead/Senior Backend Engineer, you will combine deep backend development expertise with hands-on ownership of modern cloud infrastructure. You will design and build scalable, resilient server-side systems while working closely with Kubernetes and containerized environments. A key focus of the role will be developing Kubernetes Operators and microservices using Go and the Operator SDK. You will contribute to high-availability architectures, disaster recovery capabilities, and long-term application maintainability. The role offers significant technical ownership, from architecture and development through deployment, scaling, and operational reliability. You will also provide technical leadership and help shape engineering practices across complex backend and infrastructure initiatives.

Accountabilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable,



high-performance backend applications with a strong focus on availability, reliability, maintainability, and operational resilience.
- Design and develop Kubernetes Operators using Go and the Operator SDK, implementing them as robust, production-ready microservices.
- Own backend solutions throughout their lifecycle, from technical architecture and implementation through deployment, scaling, monitoring, and ongoing improvement.
- Develop RESTful architectures and server-side services that can support complex workloads while maintaining clean, maintainable code.
- Design and implement high-availability architectures and disaster recovery strategies to improve system resilience and minimize operational risk.
- Manage and support containerized environments using Kubernetes and, where relevant, Docker Swarm, including deployment, scaling, health management, and operational troubleshooting.
