The Senior Business Analyst will support Marketing/Data Analytics projects and development efforts by working with product owners, planning and project managers, technical resources, and other stakeholders to help establish vision, determine scope, analyze needs, and help define and deliver projects and solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

This work includes analyzing and documenting current business processes, recommending process improvements, and developing the business, functional, and user requirements needed to ensure that the technology solutions delivered meet the needs of the business.

Serve as the liaison between the business areas and the technology team by understanding and critically evaluating business needs, forming requirements and functional needs. Begin to develop domain expertise in the business functions they support and may participate in the development of multi-year strategies and capability and technology roadmaps.

The Marketing Domain includes, but is not limited to, E-mail File and Program support, Modeling and Audience Targeting, Customer Acquisition, Data Feeds, Customer File Maintenance, Promotions, Campaign Management, and Customer Insights & Analytics.

Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of business analysis experience




- Strong working knowledge of core business analysis functions (including business process analysis, roadmap development, requirement elicitation tools and techniques, e.g. JAD sessions, interviews, focus groups, workshop facilitation)
- Proven experience developing requirements and designs
- Experience with Agile methods, including working directly with product owners to manage the backlog, including the creation, splitting and prioritization of stories based on outcomes
- Experience with Agile workflow tools, JIRA and Confluence
- Strong facilitator in large, cross-functional groups
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- String Experience with analytics tools, SQL and Office 365
- Experience with web analytics required, GA 360 and GA4 preferred
- Exhibits organizational savvy, business savvy, executive presence, thought partnership and ability to influence
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage time effectively
- Willing to cross train and contribute to the team to ensure the sprint commitment is completed
- Versátil with regards to changing priorities and business needs
- Ability to advocate for stakeholders and/or business objectives across both functional and technical domains to ensure fully vetted, well-reasoned decision making, taking into account multiple points of view and the ability to arbitrate and objectively evaluate competing requests across the enterprise
- Nice to have retail industry experience
