Commercial Analyst

Kauffman Engineering, LLC., with locations throughout Mexico and the USA, has an immediate remote opportunity for a Commercial Analyst in Reynosa, MX.

Job Summary:

The Commercial Analyst will own the recurring reporting, reconciliation, and data-maintenance workload — tariff compliance, sales reporting, and customer pricing — enabling a dedicated commercial-analysis function that bridges quoting, costing, and purchasing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Regular calculation of import/export cost adjustments (e.g., tariff surcharges, duties, and similar trade-related costs) and their support files.

· Price chargeback reconciliation and accounts receivable (AR) reconciliation support.

· Periodic sales reporting and Power BI dashboard refreshes.

· Periodic item status maintenance in the VAI item master (deactivation).

· Price list uploads in VAI.

· Maintain the customer price history database and generate reports.

· Document SOPs (standard operating procedures) and escalate anomalies early.

· Comply with quality, safety, environmental, and other applicable company policies.

· Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.





· 2–5 years of experience in a reporting or data analyst role.

· Manufacturing or distribution industry background is a plus.

· Advanced Excel — SUMIFS / lookup models, pivot analysis, and clean workbook hygiene.

· ERP data extraction and reconciliation (VAI is a plus; trainable).

· Power BI — dashboard refreshes and maintenance.

· High attention to detail; reliable with repeatable weekly / monthly cadences and high accuracy standards.

· Works self-sufficiently from documented SOPs; escalate anomalies early.

· Tariff / HTS exposure is a plus, not required.

· Comfortable working with AI-assisted workflows.

· Motivated to grow into deeper commercial analysis over time.

· English proficiency (written and spoken); bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Work Environment:

· Remote work from home.

· Travel within US and Mexico (< 10%)

· Ideal region is CST or EST time zones.

· Located within 100 miles of a regional airport.
