Based in Mexico City

Building the relationships that hold our community together

This Role Is Not for Everyone. That's the Point.

A community isn't a follower count, and it isn't a comment section you clear once a day. It's people who trust you enough to speak honestly, raise a concern, or show up in person — and it needs someone who genuinely wants to be there for all of it, not just the easy parts.

If you're the kind of person who can de-escalate a tense comment thread with tact, who notices when engagement is quietly slipping before anyone else does, and who treats every interaction as a relationship rather than a metric — keep reading.

What You'll Actually Be Doing...

This role comes down to building and protecting a genuine community, across every touchpoint. In practice, that means:

Building real relationships. You'll build and nurture relationships with our community across digital and in-person touchpoints — this isn't a one-way broadcast, it's a two-way relationship you actively invest in.

Moderating with care. You'll moderate and engage in our online community spaces — forums, groups, comment sections — keeping conversations safe, on-brand, and genuinely welcoming.

Growing participation. You'll develop initiatives that grow community participation and engagement, giving people reasons to show up and stay involved, not just reasons to scroll past.

Being the bridge. You'll act as the liaison between the community and internal teams, surfacing feedback and sentiment so the people making decisions actually hear what the community is saying.

Bringing people together in person. You'll plan and support community events, virtual and in-person, that turn online connection into something real.

Reading the health of the community. You'll track community health metrics and report on engagement trends, spotting shifts in sentiment before they become problems.

Responding like it matters.

You'll respond to community inquiries in a timely, on-brand manner, because every response is a chance to reinforce trust or quietly erode it.

Who Thrives Here

- You handle conflict with tact, not avoidance — a tense thread doesn't rattle you.
- You're genuinely empathetic, not performatively friendly — people can tell the difference, and so can we.
- You're proactive about community health, not just reactive to complaints.
- You see feedback as a gift to pass along, not noise to filter out.
- You care as much about the person behind the comment as the comment itself.

About You

- 2+ years' experience in community management, customer engagement, or a related role.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
- Comfortable moderating online spaces and handling sensitive community issues with tact.
- Native or fluent Spanish, with working English for internal reporting.
- Experience with community platforms and/or social listening tools.
- An empathetic, proactive communicator with a genuine interest in relationship-building.

Work Environment

- Based in Mexico City, working closely with the wider marketing team.
- A mix of digital community management and in-person event support.
- An environment where sensitivity, tact, and genuine care are as important as the metrics.

Why This Role You'll have real ownership over how people experience our community — how they're welcomed, heard, and brought together. It's a role where the relationships you build are the vigente work, not a side effect of it.

If you're the person people trust to hear them, we want to hear from you.
