We are looking for a highly proactive and independent professional who can take ownership of project responsibilities, anticipate challenges, communicate effectively with teams in the U.S., and keep multiple project activities moving forward without requiring constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager throughout the full project lifecycle, from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Prepare, manage, and follow up on submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, logs, schedules, and records.
- Review electrical plans, specifications, and drawings for commercial construction projects.
- Track project costs, budgets, and material procurement.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, field teams, and other project stakeholders to maintain project schedules.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential risks, delays, or coordination issues.
- Communicate identified issues to the Project Manager and provide recommended solutions.
- Assist with estimating, quantity takeoffs, and bid preparation when required.
- Maintain continuous communication and coordination with project teams located in the United States.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Project Engineering experience in commercial electrical construction.
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Demonstrated experience managing project responsibilities independently while remaining closely coordinated with a Project Manager.
- Hands-on experience managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, project documentation, and schedules.
- Experience coordinating materials, vendors, suppliers, and field activities.
- Strong understanding of construction project costs and budgets.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience using construction management and document review software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- High level of initiative, ownership, and accountability.
- Ability to work U.S. Pacific Time business hours.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Previous estimating and/or quantity takeoff experience.
- Familiarity with U.S. commercial construction codes and standards, including NEC.

We are looking for a hands-on, action-oriented Project Engineer who understands commercial electrical construction and can independently move work forward. You should be comfortable reviewing electrical drawings, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, identifying potential problems before they become delays, and communicating proactively with a Project Manager and project teams in the United States.
