responsibilities
- develop and maintain features for drupal-based public-sector projects.
- develop, customize, and extend drupal themes and front-end functionality.
- participate in code reviews and provide feedback on pull requests, standards, and best practices.
- estimate level of effort and decompose backlog items and client requests into tasks.
- collaborate with designers to improve accessibility, usability, and adherence to the design vision.
- analyze application performance and implement optimizations across environments.
- participate in agile processes and communicate with peers, product owners, clients, and other stakeholders.
- identify opportunities to improve team practices and technology.
- provide technical consulting directly to clients.
requirements
- deep understanding of drupal cms site building and theme development, with active participation in the drupal community.
- proficiency in web accessibility standards and seo optimization.
- proficiency in multiple programming languages and technology stacks.
- previous experience working on software development teams using agile methodologies.
- ability to design and implement across enterprise systems, web ui, mobile, web services, and databases within project constraints.
- experience with or advocacy for modern front-end frameworks.
- ability to communicate directly with clients as a technical consultant.
- ability to collaboratively evaluate alternatives and balance effort, complexity, and business value.
- strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
