**Title:**DG BOSS: Welder (FN)* Repairs structures by dismantling, reshaping, and reassembling metal components using cutting torches and hand tools.
* Determines the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
* Set ups components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).
* Monitors machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
* Welds components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
* Prepares metal surfaces by cleaning with chemical solutions and wire brushes to remove impurities such as scale, rust, grease, and moisture.
* Cleans work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary.
* Follows and enforces strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
**Basic Qualifications*** Must be able to read, interpret blueprints and design and follow engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions.




* Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, bending, standing, climbing or walking.
* Must speak, read, and understand the English Language.
* Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
* Must have a valid Professional Driver's License with at least Restriction Code 2.* Must have basic knowledge of Maximo and Tablet**Preferred Qualifications****JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING:*** Certification/s are required:* Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) - NC I, II, III* Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) - NC I, II, III* Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) - NC I, II, III, IV* Shielded Arc Welding (SMAW) - NC I, II, III, IV**EDUCATION:*** Must have at least High School diploma, Vocational or Technical course Graduate is required.
**EXPERIENCE:*** Must have at least (3) years of experience in the building trades.
