Procurement SpecialistAre you experienced in purchasing, inventory management, and purchase orders, and ready for a role where your decisions can directly impact product availability and operational performance?
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join a growing purchasing team and help ensure the right products are available at the right time across multiple distribution centers.This role goes beyond simply creating purchase orders.
You will be expected to analyze inventory data, identify replenishment needs, work directly with vendors, and turn purchasing insights into clear actions that support availability, forecasting, and service levels.What You'll Be DoingExecute vendor purchases and generate accurate Purchase OrdersManage PO confirmations and follow up on late purchase ordersMonitor inventory availability and replenishment needsAnalyze fill rate, weeks on hand, inventory turns, and inventory balanceReview purchasing and inventory reports to identify required buying actionsSupport forecasting through demand trends, safety stock, and service-level analysisIdentify inbound freight and purchasing opportunities that improve efficiencyCommunicate directly with vendors, sales teams, purchasing,



and operationsProvide product availability and shortage updates to internal teamsSupport inventory performance across multiple distribution centersWhat We're Looking ForHands-on experience working with Purchase Orders and purchasing processesExperience communicating and following up directly with vendorsUnderstanding of inventory, replenishment, and product availabilityStrong analytical skills and the ability to make decisions based on reports and dataGood knowledge of Microsoft Excel and OfficeHigh attention to detail and consistent follow-throughAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracyStrong written and verbal English communication skillsCollaborative and proactive mindsetPrevious experience with Purchase Orders is especially important for this role, as the team considers prior exposure to a purchasing environment a key requirement.The ChallengeThe organization is currently strengthening its procurement operation following the implementation of a new ERP system, making this an excellent opportunity to join during a period of growth, stabilization, and process improvement.They are looking for someone who can learn the current processes, execute them accurately, identify gaps, and bring forward ideas to improve the way the team operates.You will be a strong fit if you are methodical, collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working through ambiguity.
